We may be minutes from the city, but we are miles away from city life! Our quiet country setting is the perfect site for that special outdoor event. From family reunions to company parties to artistic performances, Dunrovin’s creative staff is ready to use the ranch’s many resources, as well as those of our local partners, to help you host a truly unique event.
Conferences and Retreats
A “Taste of Montana” meeting or retreat is ideal for team-building, thinking outside the box, or just having a wonderful time with colleagues. Immersed in the sights, smells, and sounds of the river, the many birds that call Dunrovin home, the horses grazing in the pastures, and the landscaped gardens and orchard all encourage participants to move outside their usual thinking and communicate with each other on a new level.
Dunrovin’s dance hall is suitable for roundtable discussions or gatherings of up to 40 people. Break-out groups can assemble around picnic tables for small group discussions, and the entire front deck of the main Ranch house can be used for stage presentations.
Birthdays, Anniversaries, and Reunions
A “Taste of Montana” is a memorable way to celebrate any occasion and to show guests and family what it means to be a Montanan. With horseback riding, fly fishing, river floating, bird watching, and hiking, the sky’s the limit – and we live under a Big Sky. With no noise ordinance, you are free to dance the night away.
Activities can include:
- horseback riding
- live music
- art projects, including painting a live horse
- fly fishing, trick roping, and line dance lessons
- crazy cowboy hat contest
- the “donkey challenge” team contest
- river inner tube float
