Partnership Clinic

To finish out the spring, we are glad to welcome back to the ranch our long-time friend, and breeder and trainer of Tennessee Walking Horses, Brandon Carpenter. On the weekend of May 21st and 22nd, Brandon will join us to help deepen our understanding of horsemanship and increase the performance we desire from our horses. Many of you may be familiar with Brandon from past clinics here at Dunrovin, or from viewing the remote training and mentorship experience between our new horse Mystery and wrangler Taryn Bushey. We are very excited to see Brandon in person, as we watch him help participants transform relationships and create stronger foundations with their horses.

To add a unique twist to the clinic, we are extending the experience here at the ranch to the online members at DaysAtDunrovin. As our cyber participants submit videos of working with their horses, they will be able to chat with Brandon as he views and critiques them. Then, he will offer demonstrations on camera. We are doing this to accommodate those who don’t have the ability to go from clinic to clinic or lesson to lesson. The online twist will allow online participants to form a partnership with Brandon, just as the on-site participants are. As they continue their mentorship months after the clinic, online viewers will have access to HorseChat, Ranch Cams, and other horse related content at www.DaysatDunrovin.com.

Connected Riding and Horsemanship Clinic

Come join us the weekend of April 16th and 17th at Dunrovin Ranch. We will be hosting a fun and informative clinic taught by Certified TTouch Practitioner Laura Faber-Morris of the Wholistic Equine Center in Whitefish, MT. Learn to improve the balance and harmony between you and your horse, gain solid groundwork skills that translate up into the saddle, and learn how the proper biomechanics of horse and rider can create success through partnership.

Laura teaches a variety of methods to help you become more in tune with your horse. These methods include TTouch, a form of bodywork that improves behavior, performance and healing. TTouch was developed by internationally recognized animal expert, Linda Tellington-Jones, PhD; Connected Riding, developed by equine professional Peggy Cummings. Connect Riding is based on the biomechanics of movement, teaching riders to synchronize with their horses movement to create more ease and better performance; and The Masterson Method, an integrated, multi-modality method of equine massage developed by Equine Massage Therapist Jim Masterson. Whether you want to have a deeper connection with your horse, or improve performance, this clinic will get you on the road to accomplishing your goals.
